The Barnes's family is in need of your help. I have set up this Go Fund Me account to help with the huge medical expenses and loss wages incurred recently when Ryan suffered another stroke mid October. A little history...
Ryan suffered a stroke in 2015 and then was found to have a stage 3 cancerous tumor in his brain. After months of rehab and chemo, Ryan was finally dubbed cancer free in April 2016. He still suffers from the TBI (tramatic brain injury) but had been doing great physically and mentally, even being employed at an amazing new job that he loved, the second income helping out the family tremendously.
This latest stroke not only has caused Ryan to be out of work, but mentally he is struggling. Of course, the family struggles the most and his wife Michelle is one of the strongest, bravest, kindest women I know. Ryan is in need of 24 hour care but that is financially out of reach for the family. We do not know when he will be mentally stable enough to return to work, drive, etc. A lot of time and energy from Michelle and the kids are necessary to help Ryan through these next few weeks as he gradually recovers. Full recovery is expected...eventually :)
Many of us have come forward to help with meals, groceries, childcare for their two young beautiful children...but it will be the loss of the second income and especially the medical bills that are going to hurt this family the most.
