Ryan and the Groves family

Donation protected

On Thursday, October 19th, Ryan  woke up and went to school like any normal day. He is a Freshman at Lakota West, and recently turned 15 years old. Ryan started having a headache. He took a bath thinking that it would help calm his headache symptoms. By the time he got out of the bath, he was in agonizing pain. He started losing his vision, running into walls and nearly falling down a flight of steps, causing bumps and scrapes. By this point, he was begging to go to the hospital. Terry, and Lesley, his mom and dad took him to the nearest ER. The ER then rushed him down to Cincinnati Childrens by ambulance.

After several tests were ran, the Doctors delivered news that no parent wants to hear... Their 15 year old, healthy son, had suffered from a brain Aneurysm. Further tests showed that Ryan also had Hemorrhaging, bleeding of the brain, which turns out to take up almost the entire right side of his brain. It is massive in size. The hemorrhage is called an AVM (Arteriovenous Malformation).

Ryan will be having his FIRST of MANY procedures on Saturday, October21st. They said he could have up to 4 procedures, maybe more. They are anticipating his stay in the hospital about 3 ish weeks.  Mom and Dad, Terry and Lesley, are doing what any good parent does, and will be there with their one and only son, Ryan, the entire step of the way. Ryan is their only child, and is their WORLD. They will have a long road ahead of them.

With that being said, between the time in the hospital, procedures, therapy, and whatever else Ryan will need to get passed this, I am asking friends and family for help. Ryans' parents do not get paid time off from work, and their income will be next to nothing. The last thing they should have to worry about is medical bills, gas back and fourth to hospital,  and where their next meal will come from. Please, out of the kindness of your heart, I ask you to make a donation. If you do not have the means to donate, please keep them in your prayers and thoughts. Anything helps and we apprecite it more than you will ever know!!
