Help Joey beat cancer!

Donation protected
When someone has cancer, the whole family and everyone who loves them does too.

This is about my very dear friend, Joey Knotts.  After having a PET scan in July of  2017, Joey was diagnosed with lung cancer, and this will be his third battle with cancer.
On Wednesday, September 27, 2017, Joey will undergo a right upper lobectomy to remove a tumor which thus far has been contained to his right upper apex.  The tumor will  be sent off for pathology.  At this time, there has been no signs of metastasis.  Please keep Joey, his family, and the medical team  in your prayers during this very difficult time.
For those of you who know Joey, you know he is an extraordinary human being.  He is cheerful, loving, and unbelieveable strong.  Joey is one of the most selfless people I have ever known, and he has always been there to give his love and support, or to give "the shirt off his back" to anyone who needs it.  Joey always puts his family and friends before himself.
Joey is married to his "soul mate", Candy, who unfortunately has Multiple Sclerosis, and has been on disability since April of 2001.  They have three children, James who is 34, and lives in LO, Angel 32 who lives in FL, and their youngest T.J. who is 18 and just started his first semester at WVU.

Joey is the main source of income for Candy, T.J. and himself,  but Joey will be off of work for an undetermined amount of time.  Joey is a proud man, and he does not want to ask for our help, but he needs our help.
When you or your loved one is fighting cancer, you're often faced with not enough money.  There are appointments after appointments,  transportation cost, co-pays, and  medications which unfortunately are not 100% covered by insurance.  There are extended recovery times, and the bills begin to pile up, and Joey, bless his heart, has been working up to the day of his surgery.
There are a few things that we can do to help relieve some of this burden.  We can first and foremost pray for Joey and his family.  Secondly, we can help to ease some of his financial burden and stress.
Joey is often the one to give love and support to others.  Please, let us give some of this love and support back.  Let us help to lift some of his burden that he has been too proud to ask for.  Every litte bit can help, and if  $5.00 is all you can afford, that $ 5.00 may buy the next gallon of milk and loaf of bread.  Every little bit will help, and I know Joey and his family will be very thankful.
Joey, and his wife Candy will be the only ones to have direct access to the funds raised.
