MSA Masjid Restoration Project

Salam Alaikum! (Peace be upon you all!)
We are the Muslim Students Association at the University of Washington in Seattle, WA and we are trying to raise money to help restore our mosque. We are one of the most active, diverse, and inclusive MSA's in the country, and we are blessed to have a mosque on campus that we can call our own. The Islamic House at UW is a mosque run 100% by the MSA. We have the five daily prayers offered every day, Jummah prayer every week, and we are open to the entire Muslim community in the greater Seattle area. We also host many events throughout the year including community interfaith events, iftars, and many other MSA events.
Unfortunately in recent years the Islamic House has been neglected and has become a very dirty and uninviting place. The Islamic House has also had problems with homeless intruders who have lived inside the mosque and vandalized parts of the mosque including bathrooms, carpet and furniture. Furthermore the Islamic House no longer was an appealing environment for the MSA, the original beneficiary of the mosque. Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God) in the past four months, new MSA leadership has made efforts to restore the mosque, clean it, and make it more usable for the community and for the MSA. However, there is still a lot left to be done. We are seeking to raise money for the following purposes:
1. We would like to fund a new security system including cameras, alarms, and motion sensors to help us monitor intruders and deal with them before it's too late.
2. We would like to fund new prayer carpet for the men and women's sections of the mosque. At the moment, men pray on heavy duty, clean prayer carpet while women, unfortunately, pray on old, dirty commercial carpet. With the money we raise, we hope to change that.
3. We would like to fund the construction of new bathrooms for men and women. Our bathrooms are not designed to handle high traffic and as a result, the bathrooms often are left filthy.
4. We would like to have emergency cash in case of unexpected repairs, high utility bills, or any other unforeseen running costs that may arise.
Please help out our cost as much as you all are able to. Even the smallest contribution makes the biggest difference to our cause. We are already working with major mosques in the Seattle area to help with our projects, but we need a little more help from you all! To finish, we'd like to remind you all of the beautiful Hadeeth of our Prophet Muhammad, that whoever builds a mosque for the sake of Allah, Allah will build them a house in paradise.
