Bella’s cancer treatment

Donation protected
On Thursday September 27th, I took my 4 year old Bull Terrier, Bella, to the emergency vet because she wasn’t eating and her neck was incredibly swollen.  When we got to the emergency vet they said it could be some type of allergic reaction or lymphoma. They gave her a steroid injection to reduce the swelling and told me to follow up with my regular vet in the morning.

On Friday September 28th, I took Bella to our family veterinarian. He took samples from each of her swollen lymph nodes and diagnosed her with canine lymphoma. He placed her on a steroid to help slow down the disease and referred me to an oncologist.

On Monday October 22nd, I took Bella to see the oncologist to explore our options. After reviewing everything from my vet and his own samples, he told me that without treatment, Bella would have roughly a month to live.

The cost of chemotherapy treatment alone, not including any additional medications she may need, will be at least $6,500.

For those of you who know me, you know that Bella and her brother Buzz are my entire world. There is not one single thing I wouldn't do for either one of my dogs.

Bella had her first chemo treatment on Monday and is handling it like a champ. I would be so grateful for any donations you are able to give to help me keep my sweet girl comfortable and more importantly, alive.

Thank you in advance and know that I will be forever in debt to you all for your contributions both in the form of financial donations and love and support.
