<div>     I am raising funds for my family. I was recently diagnosed with Lymphoma. I have a wonderful and supportive Fiance and two amazing eight-year-old boys. 
</div>
<div>     My journey started on June 25, 2023, my first trip to the ER due to back and stomach pain, at least that was what I had originally gone in for. During that visit, that is where they found enlarged nodes and wanted to admit me and run more tests. During that stay at the hospital three CT Scans, a needle biopsy, and a bone marrow biopsy were done. I was in the hospital until June 28th. I had a follow-up appointment on July 3rd, and that was when I was told it was Lymphoma. On July 5th I was rushed back to the hospital due to my stomach and back pain, which all the ER did was give me another CT Scan and pain medication. Due to the complications, my doctor started me on chemotherapy treatment right away. My first day of chemo was July 6. During my first treatment, it started smoothly then things started to go downhill. I began to shiver to the point where they were unable to check my blood pressure and I lost mobility in my left arm. While this was happening the doctor had the nurses call me an ambulance to take me right away. I blacked out during that time. When I woke up I was in the hospital and they were admitting me, again. During that stay, they ran another CT Scan, an MRI and checked for clotting. More importantly, they wanted to rule out it being a seizure/stroke. After more blood tests and reviewing the scans, they decided it was a reaction to the chemo. I was able to leave on July 8th. I finished my first round of chemo on July 10th. On July 12th, I had my port put in. Recently, on July 15th my fever reached 104 and I was rushed to the hospital. Being admitted for the third time, they began to test me for everything, thinking I had an infection somewhere in my body. As of July 18th, I am still in the Hospital, hoping to be discharged soon. All blood work has come back negative and now the doctors are thinking it was my body reacting to the chemo again. My Oncologist is wanting to change my treatment and how often I receive it.

<div>     So since June 25th, I have been in the hospital four times and it has been nothing but an emotional roller coaster. Not just for me but for my family as well. Any hope of working over the summer is out of the question and trying to make the summer vacation as "normal" as possible for the twins has not been easy. The kids know mommy is sick and working on getting better, but for both kids and dad it has not been easy to say the least. 
</div>
<div>     All I know for sure is that God is with me and my family. Through Him, I am finding the strength to keep moving and put a smile on me even if I'm in pain. Because God is good all the time, and all the time God is good. I am working on my RCIA class and still attending church, even if it has been virtually the past couple of times. My faith has been playing a huge part in our lives and it will continue to do so.
