Brazil Mission Trip

Hi, my name is Sara Wheeler! This May, I will be graduating from the University of Mobile School of Nursing with my second bachelor's degree. Rather than going on a graduation trip, I would like to go on a mission trip with my church here in Mobile, Redemption Church. I feel that the Lord is calling me into a time of mission and would love the opportunity to do this before starting my permanent nursing job.

This trip is to Teresina, Piaui in Brazil, from June 2-11th. This trip includes assisting with Vacation Bible School, constructing an entire chapel in just one week, door-to-door evangelism, handing out clothing for children, potentially leading a women's conference and a marriage conference, speaking to high school and college students, and, what I feel most drawn to, a health assessment clinic. I would be able to assist with blood pressure readings, blood glucose testing, eye assessments and glasses donations, as well as sunglasses donations. The price of this trip is $3500, which includes everything except the food at the airport.

As a full-time student, paying for this trip is incredibly difficult. However, I fully trust that if the Lord intends for this to happen, He will make a way. Any and all donations are appreciated, and if you are unable to donate, prayers are just as much appreciated and encouraged.
