Robbie Wieder Medical Assistance

Donation protected
52-year-old Robbie Wieder is a self-employed truck driver who suffers from multiple rare auto-immune diseases, such as Lupus and PAN. These diseases are different for every person, but in Robbie's case they cause vasculitis, which eats away and kills viable organs in the body. Due to these diseases, Robbie has been unable to work for the last 3 months, and unable to provide for his family. Robbie's son, Robbie Jr., has gone on work-release from high school so that he can help assist with family finances.

In September of 2014, Robbie underwent extensive bowel surgery, resulting in removal of several feet of bowel and the installation of a colostomy. After this procedure, he was healing and feeling better.

However, halfway through November, Robbie was admitted to the hospital again- this time for a partial intestinal blockage. He spent a week in the hospital, and was released after the blockage seemed to have cleared. Doctors have told Robbie and his family that they anticipate remission, but it may be several more months before that can happen.

In the meantime, Robbie and his family need your help! While he is unable to work, and with his son trying to help, it still doesn't make ends meet. Donations received will be used towards medical deductibles and for basic living expenses for him and his family.

No donation is too small, and we thank you for your genorosity in this time of need.
