Veteran needs a helping hand

This is my dad 62 year old Army Veteran Perry D Garrison Sr.  On his behalf I am asking for help to pay for his double hip replacement surgeries.  My dad has been a hard working husband, father & grand father all of his life.   after working for more than 35 years as a welder he had to go on disability as he was diagnosed with Hep C, rheumatoid arthritis and a number of other health issues that made it impossable to be able to keep his job and do it the way it needed to be done.

Almost 5 years ago his knees started to give out on him so he had a double knee replacement. Shortly after that his hips strated to give out on him so he has been battling the VA for almost 3 years to approve his Hip replacements and has been deied NUMEROUS times.
They will deny his claim based on reasons that are not valid and at times have lied out right.  While battling the VA he has had to rely on crutches which has led to his shoulders being damaged as well.

He was finally able to get a scooter but without his hips replaced he is unable to care for his self and has had to rely on others as a means to care for his basic needs and has his shoulders start to deteriorate he is having to rely on others more and more.

My dad's hips are bone on bone and he needs this done so he has contacted a private doctor in Mexico who has agreed to do his hip surgery for him so now here we are asking for your help.  We have all heard the stories of the VA not doing what our veterans need to be done for whatever reason and here is a prime example.  There have been letters written and phone calls made to state reps with no response. In the meatime, my dad is in excrutiating pain daily from things as simple as using the restroom.

Any bit of help would be greatly appreciated and will get us closer to the goal of being able to have these hip replacements done and give my dad a little bit of his freedom back.
