March for Science South Bend

Tax deductible
The March for Science: South Bend is part of an international movement, uniting with hundreds of other March for Science events worldwide to celebrate scientific progress, increase awareness of the impact of science on the common good, and advocate for policy that will continue to advance a better understanding of ourselves and the world around us.

This assembly is a diverse, nonpartisan call for the support of science in the interest of the common good, and for policymakers to enact evidence-based policies that are in the public's interest.

The March route begins at Leeper Park in South Bend at 2 pm, ending at John R. Hunt Plaza in downtown South Bend for the event program at 4 pm.

We are raising funds to cover the costs of the March

T-shirts can be purchased here:

Any extra funds we raise will be used as seed money for next year’s March and for small grants for local schools to buy supplies and support science Olympiad teams through our fiscal sponsor, the Indiana Science Communication and Education Foundation.
