The purpose of this Go Fund account is to assist me with my exurbanite medical costs, prescriptions and traveling costs to and from MD Anderson for treatment.

It’s hard to believe that one year ago, my life was drastically changed when I was told that I had breast cancer.  Not only was the news of breast cancer terrifying; I was also told that the cancer was at stage 4!   My mother and sisters were with me when I received this devastating news.  I am truly grateful for their love and support.  We were told that the cancer had metastasized to my spine and pelvic area. 

I have an 8 year old daughter.  I am a single parent with a small business.  Unfortunately, due to the challenges that I continue to face while dealing with this illness, I have been unable to work full time. Over the past year, my income has decreased and my medical expenses, insurance premium, and prescriptions have increased.  I am taking oral chemo treatment and a 15 minute drip for my bones twice a month.  I travel sometimes as much as twice a month to Houston for treatment, consults and testing.  My integrated team of physicians and care providers are working to find a drug that will control the continued spreading of the cancer.  Last month, a CT scan discovered the cancer has now spread to my liver. 

All donated money will be used to assist with medical bills, prescriptions, and travel expenses to and from treatment.  I would like to thank you in advance for your heartfelt consideration and generosity.
