Dear Friends,

Our family is facing an incredibly difficult time as our beloved rescue dog, Lola, is battling a life-threatening illness. Lola came into our lives in 2019 just days before she was scheduled to be euthanized after being rescued off of the streets by a Bay Area shelter. Lola had spent nearly a year at the shelter waiting for a home, overlooked because of her many health issues—until we found her.

From the moment she became part of our family, Lola has brought us endless love and joy. She isn’t just a pet; she has been a source of comfort for years for my middle son, who has struggled with severe mental health challenges. Lola is his certified Emotional Support Animal, and the bond they share is truly irreplaceable.

Now, she needs us more than ever. Lola has been diagnosed with cancer, and the only way to save her life is through an amputation surgery. However, due to temporary financial hardships, we are struggling to afford the surgery she desperately needs.

Our family is doing everything in our power to give Lola a fighting chance, but we can’t do it alone. Any contribution, no matter how small, would mean the world to us. Your generosity could help us save not just Lola’s life, but also the heart and soul of our family.
