RVA Community Unity Day

WE ARE ONE!
WE ARE LOVE!!
WE ARE FAMILY!!!
WE ARE THE COMMUNITY!!!!

It's time for a Community Wide Family Reunion!

Are you ready for a beautiful Sunday evening on July 9th at Byrd Park from 4PM-8PM filled with people of all ages, races and genders laughing, dancing, playing, relaxing, picnicing and enjoying the company of others who care about the community? Well it's that time again! It's time for RVA Community Unity Day!

Let's unite together to bring that community vibe and family feel to Byrd Park once again this year. Last year we had over 1300 people converge on Byrd Park after 3 days of planning for a day of love, learning and laughter as we embraced our community as family. This year we want to double that number to spread even more love but we need your help!

We need your monetary donations so that we can continue to provide EVERYTHING FREE to all attendees from in and around the Richmond Area. Your monetary donations will help with securing the necessary supplies to make this event beyond a success. Instead of having multiple drop off locations and times as we did last year we will just rent a U-haul to go purchase and pick up all supplies for this year's event using your donations.

Become A Sponsor
We are also looking for donations or sponsors to provide all the food supplies, craft supplies, interactive and board games, tents, ice, u-haul, game truck for the kids, sound system, generator and most importantly the PARK. Please contact me, Connie McGowan at [email redacted]  if you would like to sponsor a portion of the event.

All sponsors donating over $500 in service or supplies will be recognized on all social media correspondence, lawn signs,  live videos, any written coverage and t-shirts. Sponsors donating over $1000 will also have the opportunity to greet the community with words of acknowledgement and love. Must be signed up for sponsorship by June 16th to have your logo on this year's t-shirt.

Sponsors donating less than $500 of service and supplies will be recognized on all social media correspondence and live shout outs by our Social Media team on the day of the event.

This is not a non-profit organization.  This is an event planned by the Community for the Community to spread love into the Community.  We are family so just think of it as a big ole family gathering on the lawn by the round house in Byrd Park. See you soon family! Hugs for everyone!
