Xander's SIG Residency

Family and Friends, Xander's hard work has paid off. After earning a 98 percentile ranking on the Georgia Milestones State Test and a 1390 on his SAT, at only 12 years old, he has been invited to participate in the Summer Institute for the Gifted (SIG). The program offers opportunities at the University of Chicago,  UC Berkeley, Princeton, Yale and a few other distinguished universities.  Xander has chosen to attend the University of Chicago, ranked number four in the nation for 2015.

The Summer Institute for the Gifted is a one-of-a-kind program that provides advanced students with an interesting and challenging educational experience while developing critical, complex and creative thinking skills. The program combines remarkable academic courses with social, cultural and recreational opportunities.

Xander will be attending the Summer Institute for the Gifted this summer and will experience life as a college student by not only attending classes and completing coursework but he will be a resident at the University of Chicago dorms as to get a glimpse of college life.  And he could not be more excited about this opportunity and the courses he has chosen.

-Theories of Time Travel: Spacetime Physics and Wormholes
-DNA Diagnostics
-Medical Microbiology
-Future Fitness
