Our good friend Ruth Roberson has fallen ill with a terrible cancer that has left her unable to walk. Ruth is an independent spirit and does not like to rely on others to get around so I thought we could raise some money and buy her a scooter or moterized wheelchair. She really would love to be able to cruise the gardens at Cornerstone and reconnect her soul to the plants and animals she loves so much. She has lead tours at Cornerstone for years and if she is feeling well enough she could still lead a tour with a proper scooter! Its all about quality of life and I would love her to be able to enjoy the life she has battled for and not be stuck at home.

I would love to get her a chair or scooter soon. She has spent the last month laying flat unable to move but now her pain is managed and she can sit up! So its time to get her outside!
