My name is Ruth Daly - I am a School Liaisons Officer at St Patrick’s Pontifical University, Maynooth, will be travelling with a team from Ireland to Uganda in July 2025 to engage with various community projects in the Entebbe region, in partnership with NGO, Bright Kids Uganda (BKU).

This has been a lifelong dream of mine since I was a child—to travel and serve on the Missions. Life’s busyness and responsibilities delayed this hope, but I’m grateful to now be at a point where the opportunity has finally presented itself. I’ll be traveling to Uganda to support and work alongside the BKU School and Noah’s Ark Disability School. These schools are doing vital work, providing education, care, and hope to children who need it most.

Every single penny raised will go directly to support the students and their needs—from classroom materials to basic necessities that help create a safe, nurturing environment for learning and growth. Your generosity, no matter the amount, will make a meaningful impact in the lives of these kids.

· Much needed children's medicines and restocking community health clinic

· Eyedrops for vision assessment clinics

· Nappies, mosquito nets, mattress protectors, blankets

Based on the success of previous years, this years team will continue to support the initiatives that help improve the lives of the children in the care of BKU School and Noah’s Ark Disability School, as well as delivering health and vision assessment clinics in the local community.
