Dear Family and Friends,
We can’t believe it’s already been a week since Ruth passed away. Just the other day I picked up the phone to tell her to be careful on the snow and ice only to quickly remember that she is gone.
We want to thank you all for the love and support you have given us and to each other. The kind words, flowers, hugs, food, drinks and shoulders are sometimes the only things that got us from one moment to the next.
Many of you have asked what you can do to help or how you can contribute financially and our first thought was thank you, but we will figure this out ourselves. Now that reality has hit and we are being faced with the costs of the celebration expenses, uncovered medical expenses from two brain surgeries and weeks in ICU and settling final affairs we have realized we could use your help and support.
Words can not express how much we miss our Mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, friend. What a big hole we feel in all of our hearts knowing we will never hear her sweet voice again, or listen to one of her stories, or watch the joy in her eyes every time her grand and great great grandchildren were near.
