Relief for the Russells - Fire Rebuilding Fund

NBC Boston - "Two Kittens Dead in Milford House Fire Collapse"

Hi All, this past Tuesday at 3:30 am, our family woke up to a fire in our smoke filled home. Four of us tried fighting the flames ourselves while firefighters were en route, but before help had arrived, it had engulfed much of the house. MFD did a great job, but the fire hydrants ran dry, and there was little time to be spared... By the time morning arrived, the home, two beloved Kittens, and all belongings were a total loss.
Now we're faced with the harsh reality of starting over with - quite literally - nothing but the clothes on our backs. We cannot be more thankful for everyone's safety, but know that navigating the next few days and months will be a tremendous challenge. Building a new life, starting entirely from scratch will not be easy, but it is made less hard by the outpouring of support we've already received from the community. If you're able to lend any help, it would be tremendously appreciated. Right now any donations will go directly towards toiletries, clothing, shoes, food, hotels, relocation etc.

We are fortunate to be surrounded by such a supportive and helpful family during this time, and thank you for reading,
Victims of fires face tremendous emotional stress and financial costs and I’m hoping we can help alleviate some of the stress faced as we begin to rebuild.  Every little bit helps, and we'd love for you to share our story. Thank you all so much for the love.
