Russ Poe's Medical Bills/Lost wages

On the early morning of December 27th, 2017, Russ Poe suffered a massive heart attack and is currently in critical condition in the ICU unit at St. Luke's Hospital. With an approximate 15% survival rate, Russ continues to beat the odds and is making gradual improvements. After a week of being unresponsive, Russ woke up completely aware of his surroundings, and his MRI showed no brain injury, which doctors and nurses are calling a miracle. Russ has overcome many obstacles in his life, and continues to fight and overcome through this incredibly trying time. However, his road to recovery will be long and difficult.
Russ will need a double bypass heart surgery as soon as his heart gets stronger, as well as extensive rehabilitation. Unfortunately, Russ was in between insurance companies at the time of his heart attack, and currently does not have health insurance.
Russ has been a pillar of hope and inspiration for adults and children alike all across the Treasure Valley and North West as the executive director of the non-profit organization The Ryan J. Poe Foundation, and the inspirational youth program, Elevate Your Life, aiming to keep underprivileged and at-risk youth on the right path. Now that Russ is unable to work, we his family are reaching out and asking our community to rise up behind him and give him the tools he needs for recovery, and to support him in the same way he has supported all of us! We ask that you consider making a donation, no matter how big or how small, to help cover medical expenses and cost of living, which have fallen onto the shoulders of his family. We want Russ's recovery to be as smooth and worry-free as possible.
