Rural India School Development

There is a middle school in a village called Khandasa , Central India near Nagpur city that needs immediate help in getting set up. The school infrastructure is in a dilapidated state. The middle school has three class rooms with no electricity and no benches and tables for students. The total number of students is 79. Though the school shares a big playground with the Primary School but there is nothing in the playground for the kids to play. We need to raise $4585 before March 25th. We will in India at the end to March to personally supervise these electrical upgrades, purchases and installations. 

1. Electrical wiring, light fitting, fans - There is no power connection in Middle School. The Primary School has power and we can provide the connection from the Primary School meter. 

2. Table and benches for classes - We will need 40 table and benches to accommodate all Middle School students.

3. Playground equipment- Like see-saw, parallel bars, high bars, volleyball court, slides, etc.

The approximate cost of each of the above is as follow

1. Electric work -Indian Rs 75,000 or USD$1,166.00

2. Benches & Tables -Indian Rs 1,20,000 or USD$1,865.00

3. Playground Equipment - Indian Rs 1,00,000 or USD$1,554.00
