The #RunStPeter Scholarship is back! I'm once again running 50 kilometers with a goal to raise at least $2000 to give in the form of scholarships to deserving 2021 St. Peter High School graduates! Scholarship recipients will be graduating seniors who can articulate how they have incorporated wellness and personal fitness into how they have coped with the COVID-19 pandemic.
This endeavor has the support of district administrators and the awarding of scholarships will be coordinated through high school staff.
While we are moving into a more hopeful stage of the pandemic, the last two years have been incredibly disruptive for our children, particularly those who have been anticipating a set of milestones that they cannot re-live.
I will once again be running loops of the SPHS grounds and Community Spirit Park to complete my personal part of the challenge on Saturday, May 15th. But this time, the entire community can be involved through the #RunStPeter Scholarship Community Challenge! Be sure to log miles you run or walk between May 1st - May 15th. I’ll be giving out some fun prizes to some lucky participants, so make sure to log your miles! Every mile you move shows support for the SPHS Class of 2021. More info (including the Community Challenge miles submission form) will be shared via social media soon.
