On October 11th, 2015 I will be running my first marathon in Chicago! While it's not the race I orginally wanted to run (in Havana, Cuba) I'm still really excited to be running where my heart is, Chicago. Conquering this fear of a marathon is very much inspired by someone whose shown me strength even in her hardest time while battling late stage liver and colon cancer. She was a true Ninja Fighting Warrior and her spirit lives among all the hearts she's touched.

Help me fundraise $2,500 in honor of Julia Neary (the ultimate Ninja Fighting Warrior!) at DePaul University's Theatre School Julia Neary Memorial Scholarship Fund. Every dollar donated will be sent to scholarship. The money will go to support students in the Theatre School at DePaul. Julia and DePaul hold big places in my heart so i'm happy that these contributions will support both.

Julia's strength has been with me on every run. With every body ache, every smile, and every emotion throughout this journey. I've been able to reach limits and goals I never knew I was capable of.
