Running to support Awo Taan Healing Lodge

Hi everyone! I'm fundraising to support the Awo Taan Healing Lodge based in my hometown of Calgary. Awo Taan supports all women and families fleeing domestic abuse, and offers culturally specific programs for Indigenous women, who are three times more likely to experience violence.

This donation will support their programs and buy much-needed supplies for families.

This is part of my training and running for the 2022 TCS Toronto Waterfront Marathon. Unfortunately, Awo Taan wasn't a "preferred charity" with Race Roster (the platform being used by the marathon), so I'm going my own way to fundraise for this essential organization.
