Running to fight cancer
Donation protected
I’m trying to raise some money for children battling cancer and I could use your help.
My great passion is running and exploring the world through running.
Recently I got an idea - my initial plan was to ‘just’ run the world six major marathons, in Berlin, New York, Chicago, Boston, Tokyo and London. Then I started thinking - why not use my passion to make a difference, or at least try to?
So my plan now is to raise money for children with cancer, which is a cause close to my heart. Being a father to a little girl and having lost my own father to cancer when I was 6 years old in 1996, it just makes sense.
So before each run I’ll raise as much money as I can, and then donate what I’ve raised in the country where I’m running.
My hope for these donations is that they’ll be used for research, the care and healing of the children already affected, but also the family - the parents of these poor sick children, whose everyday is shattered. I hope they can receive some of this money to help them get by, getting food on the table and upholding an as normal as possible everyday despite of the tragedy taking place in their family.
