This year, we, a group of 10 students from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (RCSI) will be taking on the Boston Marathon, this coming April 20th to raise funds for the Floating Doctors, a non-profit organisation that provides essential medical care to people living in remote and underserved areas around the world.

Floating Doctors works to deliver life-saving healthcare to communities with limited access to medical services, helping to improve health outcomes in regions where medical support is often extremely difficult to reach.

As students pursuing careers in healthcare, this cause is particularly meaningful to us. We believe that access to healthcare should not depend on where you live, and we are proud to support an organisation that is working to make that a reality.

Every donation, no matter the size, will go directly towards supporting Floating Doctors and the vital work they do providing healthcare to those who need it most. With every last cent raised going directly to the floating doctors to aid them in their amazing work!
