Running in remembrance of Marky

August 1st, 2018 our Dear Friend Marky passed away from a drug overdose.
We'd like to donate the funds raised here on the 1 year anniversary date of Marky's passing.
Marky was loved by everyone he met for his sense of humor and how deeply genuine he was. Marky cared in a way that was contagious. Marky made us laugh in a way not many people can. Marky was undoubtedly one of a kind and will be missed by us all everyday.
The way in which Marky passed is not how we wish to remember how he was or who he was. Our family would like to remember him for all the happiness he brought to our lives, and for who he truly was as a person.
Marky loved to workout, he loved art, he loved to joke and laugh, he loved to hear about you and your life. He was a genuine guy through and through and the energy that came off of him was always positive.
In remembrance of Marky, all donations will go to the Challenged Athletes Foundation (CAF), an organization that we feel reflects who Marky was. This organization provides athletes with the tools they need to continue doing what they love, whether it be sport, music/art or any of life's crazy adventures. Marky always wanted to help, he was always looking to make people feel better, and we couldn't think of a better team to receive these funds than CAF.
I will be sending the final donations to CAF by August 1st 2019 to honor Marky and all the joy and love he brought to the lives he touched.
