<div>Hello everyone, my name is Ester Pintor Violero, and although I’m not from Valencia, I’m creating this gofundpage to help out the people, towns and animals badly impacted by the disastrous DANA that hit the East part of Spain the past Tuesday 29th October, from the UK or anywhere in the world you would like to help from.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>So far (the official numbers) have informed us that 217 people have died but there are plenty still missing. The people from the worst affected areas (68 towns!) have lost nearly everything, and it will take years to overcome the upcoming challenge of rebuilding.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Myself with the help of a good friend and fellow BMFer Marta (also from Spain), as well as of our good friend Tom Mannigns (BMF Clapham) are organising a charity 5km run on Saturday 16th November at 11:30am in Clapham Common, London, UK.
</div>
<div>It’s of course not a race, the idea is to, just like the amazing people of Spain have done, to come together, raise awareness and collect money that will then be sent to those affected by the catastrophe.
</div>
<div><strong>The money will be then transferred to the </strong><a href="https://www.oxfamintermon.org/es/emergencia/personas-vulnerables-afectadas-dana?hsCtaTracking=ac4e066e-fb8f-49e3-a8bb-d29229a67f74%25257C88b672e7-f748-4ece-a92d-1ab56ec1e302" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><strong>Spanish Oxfam</strong></a><strong>.</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Like most Spaniards that live abroad, we feel like there is not much we can do from afar, and therefore we decided to come together, and contribute, even if it’s just with one pound, to this cause.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>If you cannot attend but would still love to help, that’s absolutely fine, you can still help by donating if you wish to.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Helps us help, and make the movement of #elpueblosalvaalpueblo (the people help the people - not the government) become even bigger and international.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><strong>Thank you very much in advance for your donation, and if you’re in London, can make it and want to join us, we’re looking forward to seeing you in Clapham Common on Saturday 16th at 11:30am. </strong>
</div>
<div><strong>The meet up point will be the Long Pond corner with Roockey Road and the A24 (see image below). </strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Best wishes,
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ester &amp; Marta.

<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div>reconstruir lo destruido.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Si no puedes venir, pero aún te gustaría ayudar, no pasa nada, todavía puedes contribuir donando dinero.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
</strong>
</div>
</div>
</strong>
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Un Saludo,
</div>
<div>Ester &amp; Marta.
</div>
