Running Boston For The Ruff

Being a dog runner for Dash Dog Running in Buffalo, NY, I have had the privilege of running with so many wonderful rescue dogs. The Diamonds In the Ruff Animal Rescue has impressed me so much with their dedication to helping animals in need, and I want to do something to give back to them and help them in their mission to find homes for these special animals.
On April 16, 2018, I will be running my 6th Boston Marathon. Five years ago I was running Boston on the day of the bombings, finishing a little less than 2 minutes after the bombs went off. I heard them, saw them and forever after Boston is in my heart in a special way. I decided that I want to use this race to do something meaningful for the cause that has become so important to me-saving these animals in need.
I want to take all of your special pets on a virtual run with me in Boston this year! For a suggested donation of $25, your pet’s name will be lovingly written on me and they will be out there on that course with me the whole way. This can be in memory of a special pet or to honor any animal who brings you joy every day. Any donation you can afford to give will be gratefully received.
100% of your donation will go to Diamonds and help them pay for vet bills, food, kenneling, supplies...all of the expenses which are part of saving the lives of animals in need.
If you have ever wished there was a way to help these incredible dogs you see me in my pictures and videos, this is it! Please help me to help them! Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Diamonds in the Ruff Animal Rescue, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Niagara County, NY. Our mission is simple: to provide foster homes for companion cats and dogs in need. We are strictly volunteer-based and rely on foster homes for our animals. We believe in the sentiment of “no animal left behind” and do our best to work with other rescue organizations to secure loving homes for all animals.
