Running for Sawyer

I ( Krissy Cunningham)  have decided to run my first marathon, a full 26.2...(yes, I’m nuts-o) While on one of my long training runs I got an idea. An absolutely brilliant idea if I do say so myself. I have a friend, his name is Sawyer and he just turned 3 years old. On March 21st, 2018 Sawyer was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Sawyer is your typical sweet and very energetic 2 year old who enjoys playing and making people laugh. His mom, Alicia, is a 2nd grade teacher and his dad, Brian, works with his dad as a general contractor. He has a brother, Nolan, who is 4 and goes to preschool. Right now, Sawyer’s family travels 4 hours every week to get him the treatment he needs, including chemo administered at the hospital and at home daily. Sawyer will be getting treatment for the next 2 1/2 years. YEARS.

I want to run for Sawyer, and you can virtually “run” a mile for him too! I am asking for you to sponsor a mile for Sawyer. All you have to do is post on this page that you want to sponsor a mile, and you can pm or text me the amount that you want to sponsor with. EVERY single penny that you give will be given to the Draper family to use for gas, groceries, bills, family vacation, Whatever they want! Wouldn’t that be awesome?! One less thing for them to worry about! Or maybe one more thing to be thankful for! Let’s show the Draper’s that they have our support. Even if, or especially if you don’t know them!
