Running for Rescue - King's Harvest

Hi everyone! Running for Rescue is back!! We are ready to run and raise some money!  This year's campaign is dedicated to all of those special little feral cats out there in honor of my beloved Stripey.

I am a volunteer at King's Harvest Pet Rescue, the only no kill pet shelter in the Quad Cities. Our shelter functions 100% based upon donations and all funds are used for caring for our precious fur babies including medical care, spaying/neutering, vaccinations, food, litter, and utility bills. Our shelter is full and we are in need of all the help we can get! We have had so many success stories, have been able to save hundreds of animals, and have found hundreds of animals their forever homes.

I will be running in the Chicago Marathon on October 7 in order to raise awareness for animal rescue and to raise money for the shelter. My goal is to raise $2,620 while running my 26.2 miles.  I will match each donation dollar for dollar!
