<div>My 2 daughters &amp; I are doing the Dingle Half Marathon on September 6th to raise much needed funds for Brain Tumour Ireland &amp; Cancer Care West.

<div>Our world was turned upside down 19
</div>
<div>months ago when my husband Des was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. Despite all that Des has been through and is going through, he is still an Incredible husband and father and we are immensely proud of him.
</div>
<div>Des has worked so hard all his life- There is nothing he would not do to
</div>
<div>help someone- you could always count
</div>
<div>on Des. But for now, Des has to mind
</div>
<div>himself and we also have to mind him as we strive to literally get him back in the driving seat.
</div>
<div>We are so grateful to the surgeons, consultants, doctors, nurses and
</div>
<div>everyone who is helping Des.
</div>
<div>We cannot Thank them enough.
</div>
<div>We would like to raise money for our
</div>
<div>2 chosen charities to try to help other
</div>
<div>families like us, who never expected or
</div>
<div>expect to be on the journey that we are on.
</div>
<div>We are also doing this in honour of Des.
</div>
<div>For anyone who is lucky enough to know Des, you know why. For anyone who doesn't, I wish that you did.
</div>
