On the 5th October, I’ll be running the Chester Marathon to raise money for our good friend Lucas, who is living with Motor Neurone Disease (MND)!

Earlier this year, with the help of our local football team running a charity football match and the determination of our friend Josh, who ran the Manchester Marathon, we managed to raise around £7,000 for the MND Association. That fundraiser was about helping the wider fight against MND and supporting all people who are affected by this.

With this event, I would like to focus on Lucas personally. All money raised here will go directly to him, to use in whatever way he chooses. Our hope is that it will be enough to give Lucas the chance to enjoy a holiday, creating memories with his loved ones away from the challenges of daily life.
