<div>Hey everyone,

<div>As some of you may know, my dad was diagnosed with bowel cancer in early August 2024, and in September 2024, he faced an emergency surgery due to a ruptured tumour. The odds were slim, but thanks to the incredible doctors at Warrington Hospital, they pulled off an 8-hour miracle and removed a 6-pound tumour, saving his life. After four months of chemo, we got the all-clear that the cancer has gone. He'll be monitored for the next few months, but things are looking up!

<div>He's decided to hold a 16-hour charity marathon (no running required) at the village club on March 22nd. Because I can't be there in person, I've set up my own fundraising challenge in support of "the man, the myth, the legend" and his charitable quest.
</div>
<div>Here's the game plan:
</div>
<div>·       I'll be running 1k for each day over the next 21 days.
</div>
<div>·       On the last day, I'll conquer a half marathon (21.2k).
</div>
<div>·       And for the grand finale on March 22nd, I'll attempt a full marathon (42.4k). 
</div>
<div>I'll be sharing my progress daily, so get ready for sweaty selfies and triumphant post-run celebrations. All donations are in support of Macmillan Cancer Support, an incredible organization dedicated to providing care and assistance to those affected by cancer.
