Hello!
My name is Ben, and this October I’m challenging myself to run 5 km every single day to raise £200 for The Ebi Foundation — an organisation close to my heart.
I’ve had the privilege of working closely with the charity’s organiser, and through that connection I’ve seen firsthand how meaningful its work is. The Ebi Foundation was founded to support people living with life-limiting illnesses and their families. The charity helps fund specialist equipment, grants family experiences (holidays, days out, unforgettable moments), and provides access to counselling support when needed.
The idea behind my run is simple: turn each kilometre into hope. Every time I lace up my shoes, I’ll be thinking of someone whose life can be made a little brighter by your support. Whether it’s helping a family afford equipment or giving loved ones a chance to create lasting memories, your donation will go directly into making a difference.
Why £200 and 5 km/daily?
£200 is a goal I believe is achievable with many small contributions.
Running 5 km daily is a commitment I can sustain, and a constant reminder of the strength and endurance the families helped by The Ebi Foundation show every day.
I promise to post regular updates — photos, reflections, milestones — so you can see exactly how your support is helping me reach the goal (and fuel the foundation’s work).
Thank you so much for considering a donation, sharing this with your network, or simply cheering me on. Together, we can turn every step into something meaningful for those who need it most.
