<div>In six weeks, I’ll stand at the start line of one of the toughest challenges of my life a 400-kilometer non-stop race across Arizona.

<div>Four hundred kilometers of heat, sleep deprivation, pain, and uncertainty.
</div>
<div>Four hundred kilometers where there will be moments I’ll question everything.
</div>
<div>Four hundred kilometers where continuing forward will be the only option.
</div>

<div>But this time… I won’t be running just for me.
</div>

<div>Because through my travels around the world, across deserts, mountains, and remote places. I’ve learned something that changed me forever:

<div>I’ve realized how lucky I’ve been.
</div>

<div>I was born into a safe home.
</div>
<div>I grew up feeling loved.
</div>
<div>I had opportunities to dream, to explore, to become who I am today.

<div>And the truth is…

<div>That wasn’t something I earned.
</div>
<div>That was luck.
</div>

<div>Because not everyone is born into safety.
</div>
<div>Not everyone grows up feeling protected.
</div>
<div>Not every child has the chance to simply be a child.
</div>

<div>In the Sierra of Durango, Mexico, there are children who were born into hardship.
</div>
<div>Kids who have faced challenges many of us can’t even imagine.
</div>
<div>And yet… through sport, something beautiful has happened.
</div>
<div>They’ve found confidence.
</div>
<div>They’ve found community.
</div>
<div>They’ve found safety.
</div>
<div>They’ve found joy again.
</div>
<div>They run.
</div>
<div>They laugh.
</div>
<div>They dream.
</div>

<div>And behind that transformation is Fundación Semilla, a foundation that provides these children with shelter, food, education, and medical care.

<div>Everything they do is funded purely through donations.
</div>
<div>They work tirelessly to give these kids a safe place to grow, to heal, and to believe in a better future.

<div>There’s often nothing left to support the sport that has helped these kids rediscover hope.

<div>And that’s where this journey begins.

<div>This year, as I prepare to run 400 kilometers, I want each mile to represent something bigger than myself.

<div>My goal is simple, but powerful:

<div>400 pairs of running shoes.
</div>
<div>One pair for every kilometre I run.
</div>

<div>Because when I reach those difficult moments…

<div>When the body is tired…

<div>When the night feels long…
</div>
<div>When doubt creeps in…

<div>I’ll know I’m not running alone.

<div>I’ll know that there are kids in Durango who have already faced far greater hardships and they didn’t give up.

<div>They’ll be my motivation to keep moving forward.

<div>And together… we’ll turn every step into opportunity.

<div>Once the race is complete, I will travel to Mexico, purchase the shoes with the funds collected, and personally bring them to Durango.

<div>I’ll document the entire journey, from the race, to the purchase, to the moment we hand them over, so you can see exactly the impact we are creating together.
