Running 78 miles in 4 weeks

I am setting out to run 3.25 miles 6 days a week from 9th august until 5th September 2021.

I will be logging every run on Strava and posting to Jensons journey.

this will be equivalent to 3 full marathons
78 miles in one month.

I want to give back to this amazing charity - families of ocean ward have been such a support and a life line. Southampton Ocean ward literally saved my babies life ( jensons diagnoses was heart failure due to dilated cardiomyopathy) and for that I am thankful every day for the consultants, doctors, nurses, HCA and the other families supporting each other on the ward.

No one wants to be on a ward especially with a newborn baby but they made it bearable by their compassion and willingness to make my son better and ensure I was ok and catered for at all costs.

Please donate if you can any amount will be very much appreciated and I know will go along way for the families on ocean ward and the beautiful babies and children.

wish me luck I feel my legs will be fairly sore snd tired after this but I am up for the challenge I’ve got this

More information about Families of Ocean Ward: We are a charity that support children and their families living with a heart condition and that are treated on Ocean Ward Southampton General Hospital. We provide financial support such as hardship payments as well as days out and events. We also provide equipment and supplies for the children to use whilst on Ocean Ward, such as game consoles and Wifi.
