<div>Hi, my name is Joshua.
</div>
<div>My partner Courtney and I had a great idea that I run to raise funds to support a great cause whilst she is on the look out for great deals and toys to donate. This is a personal fundraising page.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m running 150km throughout November to raise money to buy toys for children in our area (Midlothian) who might otherwise go without this Christmas. This year it’s been getting harder than ever for families to afford the ongoing price increases and the thought of families worrying that they cannot give their children a present this Christmas is heartbreaking let alone the thought that a child will go without opening anything up on Christmas Day.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The local charity and food hub that runs the Christmas Toy Appeal donated over 200 toys to children last year and I want to be part of that. The hub stops accepting donations at the end of November, so to give us time to donate I aim to complete the running goal by the 25th of November. This ensures we can buy and donate the toys in time for families to receive them. That means I will be running 6km a day for 25 days if I stuck to a daily structure. However instead I aim to do a 5km, 10km, 15km, and 20km run a week for three weeks to achieve this.

</div>
<div>To be transparent:
</div>
<div>•	All money donated will be used solely to buy brand new toys for the Food, Fact, Friends Christmas Toy Appeal.
</div>
<div>•	We will purchase the toys ourselves, keep receipts, and post photos of the gifts we got and then photos of them being donated to the hub.
</div>
<div>•	The toys will be delivered directly to the hub so they can distribute them to families in need.
</div>
<div>•	I will provide updates throughout November to show how my running challenge is progressing.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Why we’re doing this:
</div>
<div>•	To help make sure every child in our community in Midlothian has a gift this Christmas.
</div>
<div>•	To support the incredible work of the Food Facts Friends hub in a practical, hands-on way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>How you can help:
</div>
<div>•	Donate any amount that you can — every contribution goes directly to buying toys. Every penny counts and we are super grateful for any donation, big or small.
</div>
<div>•	Share this page with friends, family, and community groups to help us reach more people.
</div>
<div>•	Follow my running progress — I’ll post updates and pictures along the way.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m running to make a difference for local children and families this Christmas. Thank you for supporting this personal fundraising page and helping bring Christmas joy to children in Midlothian!
