<div>Hi, my name is Elijah Hazelwood, and I’m proud to have been the very first young Ambassador for Run4YourMind. Since then, I’ve continued to grow with the charity and now they support the whole X-Kart team as we work together to make a difference in young people’s lives.

<div>I’ve had my ups and downs on the track, and it’s taught me to remain resilient. I’m especially grateful for the sponsorship, mentorship, and support I’ve had from Run4YourMind on my journey. Having their belief in me has given me the confidence to keep pushing forward and to use my own experiences to inspire others.

<div>So, as a thank you, I want to raise some money to support the incredible work they do, and by the end of it I hope to join Oly on stage at one of his school talks and put myself in what will be a very uncomfortable position, to share my motorsport journey, which will be one of my biggest challenges to date. Over the next 12 months, I’ll also be taking on a series of other personal challenges to raise money for the projects that Run4YourMind deliver.

<div><strong>Why Run4YourMind?</strong>

<div>Run4YourMind was created after a personal journey through OCD, anxiety, and depression. Eight years ago, Oly Newton, the founder, laced up an old pair of trainers and started running, using the act of moving forward to rebuild his life. Out of that, he created the Run4YourMind Foundation, a not-for-profit CIC that uses lived experience to inspire, educate, and support others.

<div>Since then, Run4YourMind has reached more than 35,000 young people across the UK, through funded talks, mentoring, and mental health initiatives that break down stigma and encourage early intervention. Right now, over 140 talks in education are on the waiting list, hoping to access this vital support.
