Foster house in Sitapur (Myanmar)

Hi Everyone,
My name is Thomas, I am French, 39 years old and I live in Hong Kong.
Over a year ago, we started sponsoring with my daughters a little girl in Myanmar. Cecilia is 8 years old and live in Sitapur, North of Myanmar, in a foster institution managed by Sister Jacinta with approximately 60 other young women. The foster can only host 40 kids which means they cannot properly sleep, study or eat and hence not grow as the talented women they'd expect to be for their community. This increasing number of kids reaching out for help is due to a very difficult situation in Northern Myanmar (civil war between KIA and Tatmadaw).
Enfants du Mekong, the French charity supporting some of those kids in need is willing to support building a new house to host those kids in normal conditions. The project will cost approximately 45,000 EUR / 50,000 USD / 400,000 HKD.
I decided to support those kids by taking over a personal challenge and run my first marathon on June 22nd, 2019.
I would like to bring support to those kids by:
- Showing them they are not alone, that people care about them. Please follow the page and share the link with your relatives
- Their day-to-day lives not being easy, I'd like to enlight a bit their lives by showing them the world. I'll be running the marathon in South Africa in the wildlife in a race known to be run amongst the Big Fives. I'll take pictures to share with them. I'll also be running where my professional and personal life will take me (Hong Kong, Paris, Bangkok, Montreal, San Francisco at least)

Je m'appelle Thomas. Je suis français, j'ai 39 ans et j'habite à Hong Kong.
Depuis plus d'un an, mes filles et moi aidons une petite fille en Birmanie. Cécilia a 8 ans et vit à Sitapur au nord du pays dans un foyer géré par Soeur Jacinta.
Elle y vit avec 60 autres jeunes filles alors que le foyer ne peut en accueillir que 40. Elles ne peuvent, par conséquent pas vivre dans de bonnes conditions : elles dorment par terre, doivent étudier dehors ou encore manger debout. Pas le cadre idéal pour devenir de talentueuses jeunes femmes. Ce nombre grandissant d'enfants pris en charge est due à une situation de plus en plus difficile dans le nord du pays (guérillas entre KIA et Tatmadaw).
L'ONG Enfants du Mekong a aidé à la préparation d'un projet visant à construire une maison supplémentaire sur le terrain et ainsi accueillir les jeunes filles dans des conditions décentes. Le coût de ce projet est environ de 45,000 EUR / 50,000 USD / 400,000 HKD.
J'ai décidé de soutenir Cecilia et ses amies en courant mon premier marathon le 22 juin 2019.
L'idée est de leur manifester du soutien de la manière suivante:
- Leur montrer qu'elles ne sont pas seules, que des gens pensent à elles. Merci, à ce titre, de "suivre" cette page / d'aimer ces posts
- Leur quotidien n'étant pas simple, je voudrais leur apporter un peu de joie en leur montrant le monde. Je courrai ce marathon en Afrique du Sud au milieu de la savane et des animaux sauvages. Je prendrai évidemment des photos que je partagerai avec elles. Je m'entrainerai également là où ma vie personnelle et professionnelle me portera ces prochaines semaines (Hong Kong, Paris, Bangkok, Montreal, San Francisco at minima)
