My name is Klark McGarr and on Thursday July 1st, 2021 I will be attempting to run the Cataraqui trail from end to end (104 km) in under 18 hours.
For someone who is a recreational runner at best, I know I will need a very strong ‘Why?’ if I am to be successful in this daunting endeavour.

If you are unfamiliar with this charity, it was established in 2016 shortly after the passing of my best friend Ryan Saturno after his lengthy battle with cancer. Our mission is to raise funds in order to cover the out of pocket expenses for families with children undergoing cancer treatment. These expenses include, fuel, groceries, hotel stays, lost wages and the list goes on.
To give you an idea as to where your donations go: every $500 dollars raised will be able to assist 1 family for 1 month during their treatments and battle with cancer.
If you’re willing and able, please donate! All donations will go directly to @wefundcare. Tax receipts will be provided.
