I am excited to announce that I am going to be running the Tokyo Marathon this March as a charity runner on team Teach For Japan. While far from home, this charity resonated with me as I do firmly believe education is a basic human right. As a charity runner, I have pledged to raise $1100 for Teach for Japan.
As someone who has found so much joy in running over the last 5 years, I am beyond pumped to have this be my very first 26.2. Now, just a bone chilling Chicago winter filled with outdoor runs separates me from my first world marathon major star.
