Run for Wingnut

I’m running 10hours non-stop on the O’Keefe rail trail on the 25th of July to raise money for a very special lady, Maddie Burt.

Maddie is my girlfriends sister and is currently undergoing her second battle with leukaemia after being in remission for 12 months. Maddie is a speech pathologist who helps people day in day out further develop their communication skills. She has also just brought her first home which means first mortgage, and not being able to work is going to make things very tight for a while and she will be on medication for life.

This run I am doing is all about setting Maddie up for the future after she kicks Cancers ass for the 2nd time. If you can’t donate money you can come run with me, attend the event after my run, donate to the goods and services auction or give my Facebook a share to as many people as you can!!

So many people suffer from cancer and I hope you can all show some support to Maddie and make the suffering a lot easier to bare!
