Run for Street Children Congo 2019

PFM Foundation team and friends have scheduled couple of running activities for this year 2019, starting with the 5K run on the 13th April 2019 in London. The aim of the run is to raise funds and awareness of the situation of street children in Kinshasa, capital of the Democratic Republic of Congo which is situated in the heart of Africa.
 
“An estimated 30,000 children under the age of 18 live on the country’s streets, with the majority in the capital, Kinshasa. An ever-increasing number are girls – many of them work as prostitutes and some are just 10 years old.” (unicef.org, 2011)

PFM Foundation is a non-profit organisation registered as a limited by guarantee in England and Wales (09951116), founded in 2013 by UK Based Congolese model and fashion blogger Lisette Mibo. We support orphans and homeless street children in Kinshasa, Congo through our partner organisation.
