After 15 years of running and raising money, I am finally running my 6th World Major Marathon: Tokyo! For this race, I am raising $2000 for Peace Winds Japan, an organization that helps people worldwide who are threatened by disasters, conflict, and other humanitarian crises. In their effort to serve devastated communities, Peace Winds stays beyond initial relief efforts to ensure communities get back on their feet as quickly as possible following the disaster. Some of their previous support has gone to helping those affected by 2019 Typhoon Hagibis (Japan), 2016 Hurricane Matthew (Haiti), and 2009 Typhoon Morakot (Taiwan).
