Run for Paul - Glio Awareness

Donation protected
Hello family and friends!

Anyone who has met my dad, Paul Brent, knows he is so full of life and adventure! He is smart and kind. He is strong and wise. My dad - a husband, a grandpa, an uncle, a brother, a friend - no matter what he is to you, he has made an impact in your life.

Last October, in what seemed to have happened over night, my dad, Paul Brent, was diagnosed with the most aggressive and rare form of brain cancer - Glioblastoma Multiforme (GBM). Glioblastoma does not have a cure, only treatment to prolong the growth. With brain surgery, radiation, multiple rounds of chemotherapy, and countless MRIs, my dad fights everyday!

This year, on October 7th, 2018 - on the one year anniversary of my dad's diagnosis - my brothers, sister-in-law, and myself will be running the Chicago Marathon with proceeds being donated to the American Brain Tumor Association. Many of our family members & friends will be gathering this weekend to support my dad and show him that no one fights alone! As an individual participant, we are all responsible to raise & donate $1500 per runner. This is a humbling experience to reach out to all our friends & family and ask for your support during this time! It is a large goal, any donation will help! This means so much to our family & especially my dad!

It's time we find a cure for Glioblastoma!

On behalf of all my family, thanks so much for all your help & support!
