CHD Half Marathon in honor of Baby Jax

Donation protected
I'm training to run my first half marathon on February 7, 2021, one year from the day a very special little boy passed away.

Jax Bottje was born with an extremely rare CHD (Congenital Heart Disease) called Tetralogy of Fallot with Pulmonary Atresia and MAPCAs. On January 30, 2020, at 6 months of age, he went in for heart surgery which took an unexpected turn for the worst. Jax spent a week in the hospital fighting for his life, but ultimately his heart couldn't get enough blood to his lungs, and he passed away in his mommy and daddy's arms.

Jax fought so hard and now it's our turn to fight for CHD awareness and research. Please help me raise money to support research specific to the condition that Jax had. Your money will go directly to Dr. Doff McElhinney's cardiothoracic research at Stanford Children's Hospital.
Together we can help children with this complicated condition have a better chance at surviving. And we can do so in honor of Baby Jax!
