Starting on Monday, May 3rd, I will embark on the inaugural Cocodona 250, a 255-mile trail running race through the heart of Arizona. The Task- complete every step under your own power in under 125 hours. The course consists of over 42,000 feet of elevation gain through the scorching regions of the Sonoran Desert along with possible freezing conditions on Arizona's high mountain peaks.

This year, I have chosen to race for the Combat Control Foundation (CCF). I recently reconnected with many of my fellow Combat Controllers and have since realized how important it is that we continue to have each others' backs. Last year we lost one of our brothers to suicide and it is my hope that we will not let this happen again. The Combat Control Foundation is a 501(c)(3) that provides support to the entire Combat Control Community and their families using three distinct pillars-

1. Family and Community
2. Education and Motive
3. Veterans and Heritage

The CCF's website is currently being worked on, but I have personally confirmed that the foundation's EIN number is correct and the money is going to the right place. Please help out our small community of special operators and their families. These men have continuously answered the call to protect our nation and many of them have lost their lives because of it.
