Every year, though, people ask how they can help. Well, this is how.

How much does all of this usually cost?
I'll never tell. Seriously don't worry about it. Just know that there is food at these events, and catering costs are what you are helping with. Last year we rented out a bar and your donations went to keeping that bar open for about 4 hours. You do incredible work, but admittedly this party keeps growing, so I have no shame in asking.

So why the GoFundMe Campaign?
Because it's easier than someone chipping in for a bottle of vodka at my house then having to leave the party to go pick it up. That's the ONLY reason for this, really. You all seem eager to help, so who am I to say no?!

Why not set a higher goal?
Because psychology states that if I set a goal and it is too lofty, it will dissuade people from donating. If the goal is too easily attainable, donations might not pour in after the goal is met. I will say, however, that we doubled our first year's amount last year and raised $2,145. Hot damn.
