Patrick Aghadiuno's Rugby Recovery
Donation protected
Patrick is a freshman at Rice University studying chemical and biomolecular engineering. Upon entering Rice, Patrick joined the rugby club, quickly becoming one of the most dedicated members of the team on and off the pitch.
Unfortunately, in a 2/23/19 match against Trinity University, Patrick was badly injured, suffering a brain bleed which required immediate operation and a lengthy recovery period.
This fund has been set up by the Rice University Rugby Football Club in order to help Patrick's family cover the considerable out of pocket costs of his care. All funds donated will go directly to Patrick's family to cover out of pocket costs and incidentals. In the event of funding beyond what Patrick's family accepts, excess funds will be donated to the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit at Memorial Hermann, the hospital responsible for Patrick's care. The fund is administered by club president and Rice senior Jed Greenberg.
Rugby is a game and community like no other, and we sincerely hope that you will help out an injured player in his time of need.
