WIU Rugby Club-Replace Scrum Sled

Hi all! The WIU Rugby Club needs help replacing our scrum sled.
After years of use and being left outside, the scrum sled has fallen apart and is NOT in a safe condition to use. The steel has rusted over and the insects has claimed it as their new home.
Scrum downs during a match could be dangerous without the correct training. A scrum sled is essential part of practice. It allows us to practice scrums without taking a toll on the players. Practicing techniques on a scrum sled is important in our ability to win the ball, and stay safe during a scrum down.
Our WIU Women's Rugby Club has been working hard, during and outside of practice, to become the best team possible. Last weekend we won 63-5 ... WOW, right!?
More good news, the WIU Men's Rugby program will be back in Fall 2019! Like the Women's club, the Men's club must have a scrum sled for practice. Donating will help both clubs remain competitive for years to come.
Western has been kind enough to provide for half of the funding. We need your help in making sure our players stay safe, and become the best athletes we can be.
